Petronas Towers (also known as the Petronas Twin Towers) is a skyscraper and the twin towers in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This tower could be tallest building in the world in 1998-2004 who was defeated by the Taipei 101 tower. Petronas Twin Towers was designed by architect Cesar Pelli and Jay Argentina Cerico under consulting engineer Julius Gold and Filipna Domingo.
Petronas tower completed in 1998 after a seven-year development process and become the world's tallest building on completion. They built on land which was originally the site of Kuala Lumpur race track. Menarai is built on the foundation depth of 120 meters. Design on a structural frame donated by Domo Obiasse Haiti engineer and co-Aris and Princess D Battista Battista.
Building towers have 88 floors mostly built of reinforced concrete, with steel and glass facade designed to resemble motifs in Islamic art, this is a reflection of Malaysia's Islamic religion. Tower 1, the west tower was built by a consortium led by Japan's Hazama Corporation while Tower 2, the east tower was built by Samsung C & T and KukDong Engineering & Construction. Tower 2 being the first to reach the world's tallest building at the time.
Under Suria KLCC twin towers there, the shopping center, and where the Council Filharmonik Petronas, the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra and the place. And disekiar buildings have decorations fountain in the park, so the area is used as a place to hang out a lot of people, where they were to do the photos, playing, talking or just sitting around.
