Maybe New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is just being coy.
The Republican politician, known for his bluntness, said today he hasn't made up his mind if he'll seek re-election next year.
A young boy from Freehold, N.J. asked Christie at a town hall meeting if he plans to run again for the job he won in 2009. Christie said he'll make a decision by the end of this year or early 2013 after talking things over with his family.
Keep in mind that Christie is often mentioned as a possible running mate for Mitt Romney and has repeatedly said he likes the job he has.
"I've never had a better job in my life," Christie said today about being governor, according to PolitickerNJ, a news blog.
The Freehold boy's question comes as a new poll out today shows record job approval ratings for Christie. Nearly six in 10 New Jersey voters, or 56%, said they approve of the job Christie is doing, according to Fairleigh Dickinson University's Public Mind Poll.
