An Inception Workshop of Increasing Climate Change Resilience of Maldives through Adaptation in the Tourism Sector Project 2012-2014 was conducted at Nasandhura Palace Hotel on 21st March 2012. The opening ceremony of the workshop was inaugurated by the Deputy Minister of Housing and Environment Abdullahi Majeed. Minister of Tourism, Arts & Culture Mr. Ahmed Adheeb Abdul Gafoor, Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture Mr. Ahmed Shafeeu also attended the opening ceremony of this inspection workshop.

Tourism Minister concludes his visit to Berlin and London
The Honorable Minister, Mr. Ahmed Adeeb Abdul Gafoor concluded his trip to Germany to attend the ITB Fair 2012 which was held from March 7th to 11th in Berlin. Many tour operators, travel agents and resort hotels participated in this fair from Maldives. It is estimated that around 180 countries participated in the fair.
