Position, Duties and Functions
Article 1
(1) Ministry of Tourism and the Creative Economy is subordinate and accountable to the President.
(2) Ministry of Tourism and the Creative Economy is led by Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy.
  
Article 2
In leading the Ministry of Tourism and the Creative Economy, Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy as referred to in Article 1, paragraph (2) assisted by the Deputy Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy.
  
Article 3
Deputy Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy as referred to in Article 2 under and responsible to the Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy.
  
Article 4
Deputy Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy has a duty to assist the Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy in leading the implementation of the tasks the Ministry of Tourism and the Creative Economy.
  
Article 5
The scope of its assignment Deputy Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy as referred to in Article 4, namely:
 a. assist the Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy in the formulation and implementation of the Ministry of Tourism and the Creative Economy; and
 b. assist the Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy in coordinating the achievement of the strategic policy of cross-organizational unit echelon I of the Ministry of Tourism and the Creative Economy.
  
Article 6
Details of the tasks referred to in Article 5 includes:
 a. assist the Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy in the decision making process the Ministry of Tourism and the Creative Economy;
 b. assist the Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy in implementing the work program and contract performance;
 c. provide recommendations and considerations to the Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy relates to the tasks and functions of the Ministry of Tourism and the Creative Economy;
d. implement and control the tasks and functions pamantauan Ministry of Tourism and the Creative Economy;
e. assist the Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy in the assessment and determination of filling positions in the Ministry of Tourism and the Creative Economy;
f. implement the control of bureaucratic reform in the Ministry of Tourism and the Creative Economy;
g. representing the Minister for Tourism and the Creative Economy on certain events and / or conduct a meeting in accordance with the assignment of the Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy;
h. carry out other tasks given by the Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy; and
i. in particular, the Deputy Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy carry out specific tasks given by the President or by the Minister of Tourism and the Creative Economy.
  
Article 7
Ministry of Tourism and the Creative Economy has the task of conducting business in the tourism and creative economy in the government to assist the President in running the state government.
  
Article 8
a. formulation, determination, and implementation of policies in the field of tourism and creative economy;
b. management of property / wealth of the country are the responsibility of the Ministry of Tourism and the Creative Economy;
c. supervision over the implementation of tasks in the Ministry of Tourism and the Creative Economy;
d. implementation of technical guidance and supervision over the implementation of the affairs of the Ministry of Tourism and the Creative Economy in the region, and

e. implementation of technical activities at the national scale.
