Computex is the largest computer exhibition in Asia, and the second largest in the world after CeBIT in Germany. Now in their 31st year, the exhibition was held from May 31 to June 4 at four different exhibition hall at the Taipei World Trade Center and Taipei International Convention Center.
Approximately 36,000 people are expected to attend the event the buyer is to see the latest technology and electronic tools (gadgets) are on display from hundreds of companies, including several Taiwan-based companies such as Acer Inc., Asustek, BenQ Corporation, and Foxconn Technology Group.

Outside the exhibition hall, exhibition guests can satisfy their obsession with the technology even further with a gadget that is being discounted at Guang Hua Electronics Market. This six-storey shopping complex located in the Civic Boulevard and has more than hundreds of IT shops, which offer all brands of laptops to audio-visual equipment, computers and games. To get a cheap price, the buyers are advised to bid.

Shihlin Night Market is the place to visit because you can enjoy a wide selection of typical Taiwanese snacks, such as tofu and omelet rotten oyster.
